FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before launching your first lead campaign.

Getting started

What does LeadsFromURL actually do?

You paste your URL or describe what you sell. The system builds a buyer profile, searches targeted Reddit communities, and ranks recent posts that may match your offer. Each result includes the source post, a match explanation, and an editable reply draft. AI output can be wrong, so verify the post before acting.

How does the $1 trial work?

$1 is charged at checkout and starts a 5-day trial. Your selected plan begins on day 6 unless you cancel before then. The checkout page shows the exact renewal price before you confirm.

How quickly will I see leads?

Your first scan starts after checkout and usually takes several minutes, depending on the offer and Reddit availability. Campaigns then refresh on their configured schedule; new matches are not guaranteed to appear in real time.

Do I need any technical setup?

No. Everything runs from the dashboard. Describe your offer, then the system runs the configured scans and ranks candidates for review. There is also an optional Chrome extension for reviewing Reddit comment drafts.

How the AI works

How are lead scores calculated?

The pipeline evaluates explicit need, urgency, budget signals, source context, and fit with your offer, then ranks the candidates. Automated filters reduce obvious mismatches, but a score is not proof of purchase intent. Read the source post before contacting anyone.

How is this different from Google Alerts or keyword monitoring?

Keyword tools primarily match terms. LeadsFromURL also evaluates the surrounding post against your saved offer and ranks the likely fit. That ranking is still an AI judgment, so the original source stays attached for review.

What if the leads don't match my business?

Use the refine tool to explain what was off - for example the audience, intent, or geography. The system updates the campaign and rescans. Refinement can improve fit, but AI-generated matches still need your review.

Plans & billing

Do I need a credit card to start?

Yes. A card is required. $1 charged today. $49.90/mo starts on day 6 unless canceled before then from your dashboard.

Can I run multiple campaigns at once?

Yes. Standard handles 1 campaign, Growth handles 3, and Agency supports up to 10. Agency also includes priority support and hands-on help reviewing targeting and candidate quality on request.

What's included in every plan?

All plans include AI lead discovery on Reddit, match explanations for every lead, AI-written reply suggestions, daily auto-refresh, and the Chrome extension for karma building. Higher plans add more campaigns, promotional post tools, and team access.

Posting & replies

Do you reply to the leads for me, or do I post them myself?

You send replies yourself. Open a lead and choose DM or Comment to generate an editable draft from that conversation. Check the source post, subreddit rules, and every factual claim, then copy the final text into Reddit. LeadsFromURL does not make an AI draft accurate merely by generating it.

Does LeadsFromURL post from your servers or log into my account?

No. LeadsFromURL does not log into your Reddit account or post replies from its servers. You review and send the final text from your own account. Your Reddit credentials stay in your browser.

Can I control what gets sent?

Yes. Every generated reply is a draft. You can edit it, skip it, or send it yourself. No pacing setting or AI score removes your responsibility to check relevance, accuracy, and community rules.

Reddit & safety

Will this risk my Reddit account getting banned?

Any Reddit outreach can carry account risk, and no tool can promise that an account will not be restricted. Read each community's rules, avoid repetitive promotion, verify every reply, and decide yourself whether a conversation is appropriate to join.

Does replying match each subreddit's tone and rules?

The draft uses the source post and your selected tone, but it cannot reliably know every community rule or social norm. Treat it as a starting point, read the subreddit's rules, and edit or discard anything that does not genuinely help the conversation.

What is karma and why does it matter?

Karma is Reddit's reputation score, and some communities use account-age or karma thresholds. LeadsFromURL can prepare non-promotional comment drafts, but you decide what to post and Reddit decides whether it is visible or earns karma.
